Three Appointed Members per Specific Search


Charge

The expedited search process will be initiated by the Vice President for Health Affairs after approval by the Executive Committee. The Vice President for Health Affairs will set the parameters and time-line of the search. The expedited search process shall conform to the Faculty Code and to the principles and recommendations set forth in the final report by the Committee on Expedited Searches as approved by the Executive Committee on July 21, 1998. The committee, when activated, shall meet regularly and make reports and recommendations to the Executive Committee and to the Faculty Senate.

Note: At its meeting on March 5, the Faculty Assembly voted to reduce the composition of the Expedited Search Committee from 9 elected members to 3 elected members plus 3 members appointed by the Executive Committee for the particular search. These changes took effect with the current committee.
